My name is Gabriel Tandoh and I am the founder of Gabe’s kids. The mission and purpose of this non-profit is very simple…to make children’s lives easier by providing basic essential needs and mentorship opportunities to set them up for successful and bright futures. Gabe’s Kids is based out of and does project work right here in Minnesota, but we also do work for children in Ghana and Mexico. We focus on low-income families and believe in helping to bridge the gap.
Our main goals are to:
Help take the burden off of children and their families by providing basic essential needs.
Gabe’s Kids wants to make a difference in children’s lives by providing essential everyday items that you and I never have to think about so they can focus on their education and more importantly, being kids. Our project work includes but is not limited to: providing warm weather gear to kids in need, providing water to the homeless, mentoring children in the regions we serve, providing new textbooks, school supplies, chairs and cups for drinking water, purchasing and building a playground, agricultural work, and building a school room with a roof and working electricity, just to name a few.
Making a difference in the lives of our future, our children.
We volunteer our time at schools and in the community to show kids that we care, we’re listening, and we are here to motivate and help them through the hardships they are facing. We can’t make their problems go away but we help shift the paradigm by providing mentorship and a listening ear to help them get through life’s obstacles.
Gabe’s Kids was created in an effort to reach out to the public for help whether it’s donating funds or time to help the cause, or connecting us to other businesses, organizations or programs who are willing to help us with our mission.
Sincerely,
Gabriel Tandoh
